Course Learning Outcome<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

On the completion of the course, students should have acquired the ability to:<\/span><\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Determine the type and gravity of the poverty that needs to be reduced; <\/span><\/li>\n
  2. Identify the Agroforestry system\/technology with the attributes to effectively impact on the reduction process;<\/span><\/li>\n
  3. Indicate the entry point of the intervention including specifications for market possibilities of the multiple and diversified products; and<\/span><\/li>\n
  4. Monitor the intervention impact. <\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Course contents<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

    Various types of poverty: Natural resources poverty, food security poverty, energy poverty or income poverty. Agroforestry systems\/technologies interventions and entry points in relation to types of poverty that need to be alleviated. Component management options\/strategies for optimized system’s components outputs and services; enhanced and diversified systems component products, market possibilities and poverty reduction <\/span><\/p>\n
