The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations<\/a> (FAO), with financial support from the Global Environment Facility (GEF) and the\u00a0Department for Energy Security and Net Zero of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, is\u00a0thrilled\u00a0to announce the launch of\u00a0an\u00a0online facilitated course aimed at exploring the essentials of effective\u00a0national\u00a0forest\u00a0inventory implementation,\u00a0from planning to reporting.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
<\/td>\nGoal:<\/strong>\u00a0This online facilitated course explains the key phases of a national forest inventory<\/a>, from planning to implementation, and\u00a0from data gathering to reporting.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
<\/td>\nThe course is offered for free<\/strong>\u00a0and is open to all interested forestry<\/a> professionals, decision-makers and enthusiasts.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
<\/td>\nCalendar:<\/strong>\u00a0This is a\u00a05-week learning experience<\/a>, from\u00a011 September to 21 October 2024,<\/strong>\u00a0with an expected daily workload of just one hour.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
<\/td>\nWhere:<\/strong>\u00a0FAO elearning<\/a>\u00a0Academy\u00a0collaborative\u00a0moodle platform<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
