Brower Award supports research projects of undergraduate and graduate students on the conservation of monarch butterflies and their habitats. <a title=\"Prince Bernhard Nature Fund supporting Nature Conservation Worldwide\" href=\"https:\/\/www.cfwt.sua.ac.tz\/ecosystems\/news\/prince-bernhard-nature-fund-supporting-nature-conservation-worldwide\">Funds can be used to support<\/a> supplies, travel, stipends for field assistants, and other legitimate research expenses. The <a title=\"Stanley Smith Horticultural Trust \u2014 Grants for Research and Training 2024\" href=\"https:\/\/www.cfwt.sua.ac.tz\/ecosystems\/news\/stanley-smith-horticultural-trust-grants-for-research-and-training-2024\">grant<\/a> amount is US$3 thousand. Submissions are due 31 March 2025.\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/monarchconservation.org\/grants\/lincoln-p-brower-award\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><b>Details<\/b><\/a><\/p>\n<div class=\"richtext clearfix\">\n<p>n honor of Dr. Lincoln Brower\u2019s extraordinary dedication and commitment to monarch conservation, the Monarch Butterfly Fund has established the\u00a0<strong>Lincoln P. Brower Award<\/strong>, a $3,000 <a title=\"Research Grants for Field Research 2024\" href=\"https:\/\/www.cfwt.sua.ac.tz\/ecosystems\/news\/research-grants-for-field-research-2024\">grant to support undergraduate or graduate students in research<\/a> on the conservation of monarch butterflies and their habitats. This award is open to citizens of Canada, the U.S. and Mexico and may <a title=\"Researcher in Applied Entomology in Fruit Trees for the Sustainable Plant Protection Program\" href=\"https:\/\/www.cfwt.sua.ac.tz\/ecosystems\/news\/researcher-in-applied-entomology-in-fruit-trees-for-the-sustainable-plant-protection-program\">apply to research<\/a> anywhere along the monarch\u2019s migration route.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Brower began studying monarch butterflies in 1954 and dedicated his career to their biology and <a title=\"Conservation study of people\u2019s park complex may affect collective sale\" href=\"https:\/\/www.cfwt.sua.ac.tz\/ecosystems\/news\/conservation-study-of-peoples-park-complex-may-affect-collective-sale\">conservation<\/a>. He became enthralled with monarch butterflies by his first encounter with them in Mexico and realized then that not only were they beautiful, but their spectacular migration was a gift from <a title=\"Let\u2019s honor those who have protected Indiana\u2019s natural places through conservation\" href=\"https:\/\/www.cfwt.sua.ac.tz\/ecosystems\/news\/lets-honor-those-who-have-protected-indianas-natural-places-through-conservation\">nature worth conserving<\/a>. The Lincoln P. MBF does not support indirect costs. Submissions this year will be due\u00a0<strong>March 31<\/strong>. The final decision for the Lincoln P.
