Grants range from US$50 thousand to US$150 thousand. Anyone at a university or non-profit institution can apply. Homeworld Collective encourages students and postdocs to be the lead applicants. The <a title=\"The 2nd window of application for the year 2023\/2024 admission cycle is now open\" href=\"https:\/\/www.cfwt.sua.ac.tz\/ecosystems\/news\/the-2nd-window-of-application-for-the-year-2023-2024-admission-cycle-is-now-open\">application window<\/a> closes on 28 February 2025.\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.homeworld.bio\/grants-greenhouse-gas-removal\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><b>Know more<\/b><\/a><\/p>\n<div class=\"col-8-md\">\n<p class=\"title-md\"><strong>Program Overview<br \/>\n<\/strong>Beyond fast funding, Garden Grants facilitates learning and collaboration by publicly sharing the problems that proposals address while protecting applicants\u2019 novel ideas. Proposals have two parts:<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"col-16-md\">\n<div class=\"text\">\n<ul>\n<li>The\u00a0<strong>Problem Statement<\/strong>\u00a0describes the motivating factor, specific bottleneck, and <a title=\"Action Awards for Sustainable Development Goals\" href=\"https:\/\/www.cfwt.sua.ac.tz\/ecosystems\/news\/action-awards-for-sustainable-development-goals\">actionable goals<\/a> of the project. In the spirit of growing knowledge and community, problem statements are made public.<\/li>\n<li>The\u00a0<strong>Solution Statement<\/strong>\u00a0describes the the proposed work to address the Problem Statement.
