Fellows are free to choose their own hosts. Submit an application if you come from a non-European transition or developing country and are active in any of the following areas: scientific, engineering-based, legal, economic, health-related or social aspects of climate change. Up to 20 fellowships will be granted, funded under the Federal Environment Ministry\u2019s International Climate Initiative.<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>Requirements<\/strong><\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">&#8211; Bachelor\u2019s or equivalent university degree completed less than 12 years ago<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">&#8211; extensive theme-related work experience or a successfully completed doctorate in the field of climate protection<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">&#8211; mentoring agreement signed by a host in Germany<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">&#8211; clearly visible leadership potential<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>Benefits<\/strong><\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">&#8211; monthly fellowship amount between \u20ac2,170 \u2013 \u20ac2,670<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">&#8211; three-week introductory seminar, several-day training course, reception at the&nbsp;Federal Environment Ministry<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">&#8211; up to 2 months intensive German course<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">&#8211; family allowances, lump sum for travel expenses<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>The closing date for applications is<\/strong>&nbsp;<strong>1 March 2020<\/strong>.
