Leu\u00adpha\u00adna Uni\u00adver\u00adsi\u00adty of L\u00fcne\u00adburg, foun\u00adda\u00adti\u00adon un\u00adder pu\u00adblic law, fos\u00adters the de\u00adve\u00adlop\u00adment of ju\u00adni\u00ador sci\u00aden\u00adti\u00adfic staff. The\u00adre\u00adfo\u00adre, the uni\u00adver\u00adsi\u00adty of\u00adfers one doc\u00adto\u00adral scho\u00adlar\u00adship fun\u00added by the Ro\u00adbert Bosch foun\u00adda\u00adti\u00adon in the field of Sustaina\u00adbi\u00adli\u00adty Sci\u00adence with a fo\u00adcus on En\u00advi\u00adron\u00admen\u00adtal Jus\u00adti\u00adce at the fa\u00adcul\u00adty of Sustaina\u00adbi\u00adli\u00adty Sci\u00adence, star\u00adting in April 2020 for the sum\u00admer term 2020.<\/span><\/p>\n

The in\u00advi\u00adta\u00adti\u00adon to ap\u00adp\u00adly for a scho\u00adlar\u00adship is tar\u00adge\u00adted at ex\u00adtra\u00ador\u00addi\u00adna\u00adri\u00adly qua\u00adli\u00adfied young aca\u00adde\u00admics with an in\u00adte\u00adrest in the above-men\u00adtio\u00adned re\u00adse\u00adarch field or in a re\u00adla\u00adted di\u00adsci\u00adpli\u00adne. The scho\u00adlar\u00adships will first be awar\u00added for one year and will be ex\u00adten\u00added upon re\u00adquest, ad\u00adding up to a ma\u00adxi\u00admum of three ye\u00adars as a rule. Pe\u00adri\u00adods with al\u00adter\u00adna\u00adti\u00adve fi\u00adnan\u00adci\u00adal sup\u00adport pri\u00ador to the scho\u00adlar\u00adship will be ta\u00adken into ac\u00adcount. No scho\u00adlar\u00adship may be awar\u00added to can\u00addi\u00adda\u00adtes who have al\u00adre\u00ada\u00addy ear\u00adned a doc\u00adto\u00adral de\u00adgree. The scho\u00adlar\u00adship is worth \u20ac 1,400 month\u00adly net (plus child be\u00adne\u00adfit, if ap\u00adpro\u00adpria\u00adte).<\/span><\/p>\n

In ad\u00addi\u00adti\u00adon, the scho\u00adlar\u00adship ent\u00adails con\u00adti\u00adnuous and ac\u00adtive par\u00adti\u00adci\u00adpa\u00adti\u00adon in the qua\u00adli\u00adfi\u00adca\u00adti\u00adon pro\u00adgram and the re\u00adse\u00adarch col\u00adlo\u00adqui\u00adum. Throughout the pe\u00adri\u00adod of the scho\u00adlar\u00adship, the pro\u00ads\u00adpec\u00adtive can\u00addi\u00adda\u00adte will be ex\u00adpec\u00adted to have his or her place of re\u00adsi\u00addence in L\u00fcne\u00adburg and to un\u00adder\u00adta\u00adke field re\u00adse\u00adarch in Tan\u00adza\u00adnia and Zam\u00adbia. The an\u00adti\u00adci\u00adpa\u00adted du\u00adra\u00adti\u00adon of fiel\u00add\u00adwork will be ap\u00adpro\u00adxi\u00admate\u00adly 9 months in to\u00adtal.  <\/span><\/p>\n

As part of a team of four per\u00adsons, the doc\u00adto\u00adral stu\u00addent will fo\u00adcus on go\u00adver\u00adnan\u00adce and so\u00adci\u00adal jus\u00adti\u00adce out\u00adco\u00admes in Af\u00adri\u00adcan pro\u00adtec\u00adted are\u00adas. The re\u00adse\u00adarch is em\u00adbed\u00added into the five-year in\u00adter\u00addi\u00adsci\u00adpli\u00adna\u00adry re\u00adse\u00adarch pro\u00adject \u201cWild\u00adlife, Va\u00adlues, Jus\u00adti\u00adce: Re\u00adcon\u00adci\u00adling sustaina\u00adbi\u00adli\u00adty in Af\u00adri\u00adcan pro\u00adtec\u00adted are\u00adas\u201d, fun\u00added by the Ro\u00adbert Bosch foun\u00adda\u00adti\u00adon. The aim of the pro\u00adject is to in\u00adves\u00adti\u00adga\u00adte the re\u00adcipro\u00adcal in\u00adflu\u00aden\u00adces of so\u00adci\u00adal and eco\u00adlo\u00adgi\u00adcal sys\u00adtem con\u00addi\u00adti\u00adons by i) con\u00adside\u00adring pro\u00adce\u00addu\u00adral jus\u00adti\u00adce in the go\u00adver\u00adnan\u00adce of pro\u00adtec\u00adted are\u00adas, dis\u00adtri\u00adbu\u00adti\u00adve jus\u00adti\u00adce of the eco\u00adlo\u00adgi\u00adcal goods and ser\u00advices de\u00adri\u00adved from pro\u00adtec\u00adted are\u00adas and the un\u00adder\u00adly\u00ading va\u00adlue sys\u00adtem that shapes the at\u00adti\u00adtu\u00adde of jus\u00adti\u00adce towards na\u00adtu\u00adre; ii) ex\u00adplo\u00adre bio\u00addi\u00adver\u00adsi\u00adty out\u00adco\u00admes by con\u00adside\u00adring lar\u00adge mam\u00adm\u00adals, but\u00adter\u00adflies and land\u00adscape con\u00adnec\u00adtivi\u00adty. As an out\u00adco\u00adme, the pro\u00adject will ad\u00advan\u00adce a ho\u00adlis\u00adtic un\u00adder\u00adstan\u00adding of pro\u00adtec\u00adted as are\u00adnas to na\u00advi\u00adga\u00adte so\u00adci\u00adal-eco\u00adlo\u00adgi\u00adcal dy\u00adna\u00admics towards resi\u00adli\u00adence and sustaina\u00adbi\u00adli\u00adty.<\/span><\/p>\n

The spe\u00adci\u00adfic tasks of the doc\u00adto\u00adral stu\u00addent will be to a) un\u00adder\u00adta\u00adke a sta\u00adke\u00adhol\u00adder iden\u00adti\u00adfi\u00adca\u00adti\u00adon and ex\u00adami\u00adne the so\u00adci\u00adal and go\u00adver\u00adnan\u00adce net\u00adwork in two pro\u00adtec\u00adted are\u00adas and their sur\u00adroun\u00addings: b) in\u00adves\u00adti\u00adga\u00adte the ran\u00adge and dis\u00adtri\u00adbu\u00adti\u00adon of the costs and be\u00adne\u00adfits re\u00adla\u00adted to pro\u00adtec\u00adted are\u00adas; c) as\u00adsess the di\u00adver\u00adsi\u00adty of va\u00adlues, know\u00adledge and ru\u00adles re\u00adla\u00adted to eco\u00adsys\u00adtem ser\u00advices and their go\u00adver\u00adnan\u00adce, which shape the hu\u00adman-na\u00adtu\u00adre re\u00adla\u00adti\u00adons\u00adhips at dif\u00adfe\u00adrent spa\u00adti\u00adal sca\u00adles. The doc\u00adto\u00adral can\u00addi\u00adda\u00adte will clo\u00adse\u00adly col\u00adla\u00adbo\u00adra\u00adte with ano\u00adther doc\u00adto\u00adral stu\u00addent who will be in\u00adves\u00adti\u00adga\u00adting eco\u00adlo\u00adgi\u00adcal out\u00adco\u00admes of con\u00adser\u00adva\u00adti\u00adon in\u00adter\u00adven\u00adti\u00adons.
