Edward Moringe Campus (Morogoro), Olmotonyi Training Forest <\/span>(Arusha) and Ifinga Training Forest (Madaba)<\/span><\/div>\n

Qualifications: <\/span><\/strong><\/div>\n
Holder of Bachelor Degree in Forestry or equivalent qualifications <\/span>from a recognized Institution. <\/span><\/div>\n
Duties and <\/span>Responsibilities:<\/span><\/div>\n
i. <\/span>To assist in implementing forestry plans;<\/span><\/div>\n
ii. <\/span>To assist in solving problems related to forestry activities;<\/span><\/div>\n
iii. <\/span>To assist in demonstrating silvicultural activities such as nursery work, <\/span>planting, weeding, pruning, thinning and logging;<\/span><\/div>\n
iv. <\/span>To assist <\/span>in preparing field practicals; <\/span><\/div>\n
v. <\/span>To assist in forest plantation establishment; <\/span><\/div>\n
vi. <\/span>To assist in maintaining forest plantation records and control of forest fires; <\/span>and<\/span><\/div>\n
vii. <\/span>To perform any other related duties as may be assigned by the supervisor.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Age: <\/span><\/strong>Not above 45 years of age<\/span><\/div>\n

Remuneration:<\/strong> <\/span>As per Treasury Registrar\u2019s Circular No.10 of (2015) which is <\/span>applicable at the moment.<\/span><\/div>\n

GENERAL CONDITIONS <\/span><\/strong><\/div>\n
i. <\/span>All applicants must be Citizens of Tanzania with an age not above 45 years of age <\/span>except for those who are in Public Service; <\/span><\/div>\n

iv. <\/span>Applicants must attach their certified copies of the following certificates: <\/span>–<\/span>\uf0b7<\/span>Postgraduate\/Degree\/Advanced <\/span>\uf0b7<\/span>Diploma\/Diploma\/Certificates; <\/span>\uf0b7<\/span>Postgraduate\/De<\/span>gree\/Advanced Diploma\/Diploma transcripts; <\/span>\uf0b7<\/span>Form IV and Form VI National Examination Certificates; <\/span>\uf0b7<\/span>Professional Registration and Training Certificates from respective <\/span>Registration or Regulatory Bodies, (where applicable); <\/span>\uf0b7<\/span>Birth certificate; <\/span><\/div>\n
v. <\/span>Attaching co<\/span>pies of the following certificates is strictly not accepted:<\/span>–<\/span>\uf0b7<\/span>Form IV and form VI results slips; <\/span>\uf0b7<\/span>Testimonials and all Partial transcripts; <\/span><\/div>\n
vi. <\/span>An applicant must upload a recent Passport Size Photo in the Recruitment Portal; <\/span><\/div>\n
vii. <\/span>An applicant employed in the Public Service should route the application letter <\/span>through his respective employer; <\/span><\/div>\n
viii. <\/span>An applicant who is retired from the Public Service for whatever reason should not <\/span>apply; <\/span><\/div>\n
ix. <\/span>An applicant should indicate three reputable refere<\/span>es with their reliable contacts; <\/span><\/div>\n
x. <\/span>Certificates from foreign examination bodies for Ordinary or Advanced level <\/span>education should be verified by The National Examination Council of Tanzania <\/span>(NECTA);<\/span><\/div>\n
xi. <\/span>Professional certificates from foreign Universities and othe<\/span>r training institutions <\/span>should be verified by The Tanzania Commission for Universities (TCU) and <\/span>National Council for Technical Education (NACTE); <\/span><\/div>\n
xii. <\/span>An applicant with special needs\/case (disability) is supposed\/advised to indicate;<\/span><\/div>\n
