\u200b<\/span>Third year  BSc. Forestry students conducted Field Practical Training on forest protection and ecological restoration at  Kimboza Forest Reserve between  21st – 26th September 2020.<\/span><\/div>\n
<\/span><\/div>\n
The students gained practical knowledge  on establishment of fire lines, management of  al\u200b\u200b<\/span>ien invasive species. They also practiced on sampling and collection of insects.<\/span><\/div>\n

The training was led by Dr. Charles J. Kilawe<\/a>, Mr. Paulo J. Lyimo<\/a>, Mr. Cosmas J. Emily<\/a> and \u200b<\/span>Mr. Adili Bugingo<\/a> of Department of Ecosystems and Conservation (DEC)<\/a>, College of Forestry, Wildlife and Tourism (CFWT)<\/a>, Sokoine University of Agriculture (SUA)<\/a>, Tanzania.<\/span><\/div>\n

The students were supported by the Zoological Society for the Conservation of Species and Populations(ZGAP)<\/a>.<\/span><\/div>\n
