In order to distill key aspects of these briefs and make their overarching messages more accessible to the broader scientific community, these experts authored and published the first of a series of Policy Perspective companion pieces in\u00a0<em>PLOS Climate\u00a0<\/em>and\u00a0<em>PLOS Sustainability and Transformation<\/em>. Read on for a summary of these papers with links to the full articles below.<\/p>\n<h3>Background<\/h3>\n<p>The articles summarize key focus areas to help reverse the decline of biodiversity.
