The grants are intended for early-career conservationists and researchers.<\/p>\n<div class=\" vc_custom_1686929753513\">\n<div id=\"text-block-16\" class=\"mk-text-block jupiter-donut- \">\n<p>The Manomet small grants program seeks to:<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"list-17\" class=\"mk-list-styles mk-align-none jupiter-donut- jupiter-donut-clear\" data-charcode=\"mk-icon-angle-double-right\" data-family=\"\">\n<ul>\n<li>Promote the conservation of shorebird species and populations breeding in Latin America and the Caribbean (the Neotropics).<\/li>\n<li>Strengthen knowledge of Neotropical shorebirds to inform decision-making which contributes directly to the management of populations and\/or key sites.<\/li>\n<li>Integrate the needs of Neotropical shorebirds into other biodiversity conservation and sustainable development efforts at key sites.<\/li>\n<li>Support the designation of WHSRN sites for Neotropical shorebird species and populations.<\/li>\n<li><a title=\"International Environmental Governance Capacity Building\" href=\"https:\/\/www.cfwt.sua.ac.tz\/ecosystems\/news\/international-environmental-governance-capacity-building\">Build the capacity<\/a> of early career conservationists and researchers in the Neotropics.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>HOW TO APPLY<\/p>\n<div class=\" vc_custom_1686974672272\">\n<div id=\"text-block-23\" class=\"mk-text-block jupiter-donut- \">\n<p>Applications must be submitted by email, in English, Spanish or Portuguese, on the form provided\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/whsrn.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/manomet-small-grants-form_june-2023.docx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">here<\/a>.
