As part of its efforts, the project sponsored a dedicated booth for honey at the 47th Dar es Salaam International Trade Fair (DITF).<\/p>\n<p>Under the theme &#8220;Honey is a national treasure,&#8221; the booth serves as a platform for 21 companies actively involved in beekeeping, trade, and export across various regions of Tanzania. These regions include Tabora, Singida, Shinyanga, Kigoma, Katavi, Pemba North, and Pemba South.<\/p>\n<p>The participation of the beekeeping sector at the trade fair is made possible with the support of the ITC through the BEVAC project. Aina Dallo, the national technical advisor for the BEVAC <a title=\"Call for Projects 2023\" href=\"https:\/\/www.cfwt.sua.ac.tz\/ecosystems\/news\/call-for-projects-2023\">project<\/a>, highlighted that the project&#8217;s objective is to facilitate the showcasing of Tanzanian bee products and expand their market reach.
