The Youth Innovation Challenge (YIC) invites applicants from 15 to 30 years of age to propose innovative solutions to protect marine resources and support people of all ages to be engaged stewards for marine conservation. Global Environmental Education Partnership seeks solutions that are innovative, feasible, and informed by research. Three solutions will be awarded a US$1000 prize. 2024 Youth Innovation Challenge: Advancing Marine Conservation!
\n<\/strong>In partnership with the Taiwan Ocean Conservation Administration (OCA), GEEP invites you to apply for the 2024 Youth Innovation Challenge (YIC): Advancing Marine Conservation! The YIC provides an opportunity for young people ages 15\u201330\u00a0around the world to share their innovative solutions to protect<\/a> marine resources.\u00a0This year\u2019s challenge explores how we can address marine issues<\/a>, including loss of biodiversity, marine debris, lack of awareness, and other related issues, and support people of all ages to be engaged stewards to support marine environments.\u00a0The YIC seeks solutions that are innovative<\/a>, feasible, and informed by research. Winning solutions will receive global recognition and a $1,000 USD prize and\u00a0be invited to attend the YIC award ceremony at the Taiwan Ocean Conservation<\/a> Administration\u2019s marine debris conference in Taiwan in September 2024 (all travel expenses covered)!<\/p>\n
