The Department of Forest and Environmental Economics<\/a> comprises a total of nine (9) academic staff members. Of these, seven (7) hold full pensionable positions, while two (2) are employed under contract arrangements. The academic staff are categorized based on their academic qualifications as follows:<\/p>\n

Associate Professor: 5 \"\" \"\"<\/span><\/p>\n

Senior Lectures: 1 \"\" \"\"<\/span><\/p>\n

Lecturers:\u00a0 2 \"\" \"\"<\/span><\/p>\n

Tutorial Assistant: 1 \"\" \"\"<\/span><\/p>\n

All nine academic staff members are actively represented on research platforms such as Google Scholar<\/a> and ResearchGate<\/a>, showcasing scientific publications in world-renowned journals, including Nature<\/a>. These publications have significantly contributed to pioneering innovations in the fields of Natural Resource and Environmental Economics and related disciplines. Moreover, their research has addressed both national and international challenges, leading to notable improvements in global livelihoods.<\/p>\n

In addition to their academic achievements, the staff have exemplified outstanding leadership within the University, holding prominent positions such as College Principal at CFWT, Deputy Vice chancellor Finance and Administration<\/a>, and University Vice Chancellor. <\/a>Some staff have also extended their contributions to national organizations such as the Tanzania Forest Fund (TaFF)<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
