    BIOGRAPHY:<\/strong><\/p>\n

    Dr. Beatus John Temu is a Forest Economist working at the Department of Forest and Environmental Economics, Sokoine University of Agriculture. He holds a PhD and MSc. degree in Forestry (Economics) and BSc. degree in Wildlife Management from Sokoine University of Agriculture, Morogoro, Tanzania. He also holds a certificate on Gender, Development, and Environmental Governance from Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (SLU), Uppsala, Sweden. Prior to working at SUA, Dr. Temu worked for 7 years with Green Resources AS (GRAS)- a Norwegian forest management company operating in Tanzania, Uganda and Mozambique as Operations Manager at Tanga Forests Ltd (a subsidiary company of GRAS) and as a Research and Monitoring officer at Green Resources Ltd (a subsidiary company of GRAS).<\/p>\n
