It is a key ingredient in the production of adhesives, varnishes, and sealants. Additionally, it is used in the manufacture of turpentine, which is a solvent for paints and a raw material for the chemical industry. Resin is also utilized in the production of rosin, which is used in making soaps, paper, and rubber products.
