This visit is part of the strategic collaboration between Tanzania and Russia in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cfwt.sua.ac.tz\/foresteconomics\/exploring-the-economic-potential-of-pinus-patula-resin-extraction-and-beyond\/\">forest conservation and the development of this sector<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>This partnership was initiated following the directives of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pmo.go.tz\/administration\/profile\/2\">Honorable Prime Minister<\/a> after the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.summitafrica.ru\/en\/archive\/2023\/summit-outcomes\/\">2023 Summit of African and Russian Heads of State<\/a>. In this context, institutions like <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tfs.go.tz\/\">TFS (Tanzania Forest Services)<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/tafori.or.tz\/\">TAFORI (Tanzania Forestry Research Institute)<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cfwt.sua.ac.tz\/\">SUA (Sokoine University of Agriculture)<\/a> were involved in preparing these agreements, marking an important step in strengthening academic and research relations between these two nations.<\/p>\n<p>As part of the expert exchange program, Tanzania will also send 10 of its experts to Russia in May 2025.
