    2. Assessment of the area of forest remaining on the Eastern Arc Mountains and the rates of forest change over the previous decade. Consultancy commissioned to FORCONSULT by UNDP (00015426-Eastern Arc Mountains Project) (2004-2005).
    3. Preparation of the National/ Regional Management Framework: Institutional Component for the Lake Victoria Basin. A project commissioned to SMEC International Pty, Ltd by the Ministry of Water during preparation for Phase 2 of the Lake Victoria Environmental Management Project (LVEMP-2), (June – August 2006).
    4. Assessment of the baseline status of current forest cover and forest change in the Coastal Forests of Kenya and Tanzania. Landsat TM (+), Quick bird images and digital aerial photographs were used to quantify forest and woodland degradation. GIS layer of Key Biodiversity Areas (KBA’s) was overlaid to assess the status of critically endangered and endangered species. A consultancy commissioned by Applied Biodiversity Science, Conservation International (CABS/CI) (2005-2006). Funded by Critical Partnership Fund (CEPF).
    5. Survey on Adoption and Technical Performance Evaluation of the Swiss Concrete Pedal Pump. Sponsored by IPTRID (2007).
