Entry requirements

The applicant must hold a Master’s degree in forest sciences or related areas from an accredited University.  Currently, the programme is admitting candidates from Eastern and Southern Africa sub-regions. The programme has scholarships for up to 20 applicants from Ethiopia, Mozambique, Rwanda, Tanzania and Uganda. These will be allocated in competitive basis. Applicants should include a 3 – 4 page research concept note for a three-year research project and three letters of recommendation. Special considerations and support are given to female PhD candidates. Qualified women are encouraged to apply.
