The main objective of this Postgraduate Diploma is to equip students with advanced knowledge, skills, and experience in monitoring and evaluation of various projects in order to enhance sustainable development and
management of the environment and natural resources in the Country.
The overall objective of the Programme is to equip students with innovative knowledge and skills in order to enhance understanding of current environmental and natural resource economic issues
The programme is designed to enable graduates to develop a system orientation and awareness of the complex social, economic and ecological factors involved in natural resource management and agricultural production systems, thus students are expected to work with peers and farmers.
The Departmental Research Agenda is designed to support current and emerging priorities and identify those areas that require new scientific knowledge in the short and longer term.
