Biography:

Jafari R Kideghesho is Associate Professor in the Department of Wildlife Management at Sokoine University of Agriculture (SUA), Tanzania. Between 2012 and 2014 he served as Deputy Director of Wildlife Division in Tanzania’s Ministry of Natural Resources and Tourism. Before joining SUA in 1999, he taught at the College of African Wildlife Management in Mweka. Kideghesho teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in the Faculty of Forestry and Nature Conservation. His academic qualifications include BSc (Agriculture) obtained from SUA in1993; MSc. (Conservation Biology) - Kent University in 1996, and PhD from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (2006). In addition to research and consultancy, Kideghesho has been an active supporter of academic efforts beyond his institution within and outside Tanzania as a part-time lecturer or external examiner.  He also serves as a regular reviewer for a number of conservation/natural resource journals. Kideghesho has published 30 papers in international peer reviewed journals and delivered a number of public lectures and presentations in different academic and scientific settings.

Biography:

Jafari R Kideghesho is Associate Professor in the Department of Wildlife Management at Sokoine University of Agriculture (SUA), Tanzania.
