The 1st National Wildlife Corridors Forum

The 1st National Wildlife Forum is held at Julius Nyerere Convention Center in Dar es Salaam. The purpose of the meeting is to steer the long-term conservation of 61 Wildlife Corridors in Tanzania. This particular meeting is discussing in two days (14-15 Dec 2023) how restoration of 20 priority wildlife Corridors are going to be conducted.

 

The meeting is coordinated by the Ministry of Natural Resources and tourism and is supported by the development partners including USAID, UNDP and Frankfurt Zoological Society. Prof Alfan Rija who is also the head of department of Wildlife is attending the meeting to represent Sokoine University of Agriculture.
