STUDENTS SUPERVISION:

4.1 Teaching and Students Supervision

4.1.1    Teaching Forestry, Wildlife Management, Animal Science, and Veterinary undergraduate students the following courses: Forest Ecology, Wildlife Management, Wildlife Utilization, Mammalogy, and Principles and Techniques of Wildlife Management.

4.1.2    Teaching graduate or postgraduate students the following courses: Tropical Vegetation and Plant Ecology, Ecology and Tropical Biology, Wildlife Resource Assessment, Wildlife Ecology and Conservation, Socio-ecology of Natural Resources, Wildlife Farming and Ranching, and Sustainable Utilization of Wildlife in the Tropics.  

4.1.      Teaching Forest and Wildlife Ecology, and Commulity Based Wildlife Management to participants on short courses of Management of Natural Resources and Sustainable Agriculture offered at SUA.

4.1.4    Teaching and supervision of forestry and wildlife conservation aspects to various groups, including the USA based School for International Training (SIT) students.

4.1.5    Part-time lecturer of Fundamentals of Ecology course to undergraduate students of The Open University of Tanzania.

4.1.6      Supervision of many undergraduate special projects.
