Biography:
Robert is a Lecturer in the Department of Wildlife Management at Sokoine University of Agriculture (SUA) where he is engaged in teaching undergraduate and graduate students. He has a Bachelor degree in Wildlife Management, a Master degree in Biology, and a PhD in Wildlife Management. Robert has attended a number of training related to his career including — Conservation Projects Planning & Management, Media & Messaging for Conservation Projects, Behavior Change in Conservation through Education & Outreach, Species Red Listing, and Participatory Research Methods. In addition, Robert has abilities on performing tasks in GIS & remote sensing; DNA extraction, PCR, & analysis of DNA fragments. Robert is interested in researches related to modelling of species-habitat interactions, spatial analysis of species habitat use, endangered species conservation, behavior change & community alternative livelihoods, and issues affecting endangered birds and mammals.
