Over 300 Million TZs from HEET project to renovate staff houses at Sokoine University of Agriculture, SUA.

The Vice Chancellor of Sokoine University of Agriculture, Prof. Raphael Chibunda, announced during a meeting held on August 16, 2023, that the HEET project will provide over 300 million for renovating staff houses at the university. The HEET project, which was launched in 2022, aims to improve the physical infrastructure of the university, including the construction and rehabilitation of buildings

The renovation of staff houses is part of the university’s efforts to ensure good working conditions for its staff, from their offices to their homes, in order to increase the efficiency of university operations. This announcement was made made during the meeting with the staff of the College of Forestry, Wildlife and Tourism and the College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, in continuation of Annual meetings.

The HEET project is a significant investment by the university to address the increasing enrollment and improve the learning environment for its students and the working conditions for its staff

 The renovation of staff houses is expected to contribute to the overall goal of the project by providing a conducive environment for the university’s staff to live and work. further more to benefit the students the vice chancellor said the management is planning to add more hostels and class rooms at Edward Moringe Campus, Solomon Mahlangu and the new college at Katavi.
