ABSTRACT
It is good to have research that brings up good expensive data. However, many situations necessitate writing without expensive data. These include the need to utilize massive expensive data that have been collected through various research projects and programmes; the need for theoretical, conceptual and methodological growth; need for a paper when one doesn’t have a research project, the existence of types of paper in journal that do not need expensive data; etc. This talk derives from my own experience writing papers without expensive data. My aim is not to boast about my ability and achievement in that regard but to share the little that I gained as experience from attempting and achieving that. I hope you find my talk inspiring.
