Call for Applications for Masters and Doctoral Scholarships at Copperbelt University

The Copperbelt University Africa Centre of Excellence for Sustainable Mining
The Copperbelt University Africa Centre of Excellence for Sustainable Mining (CBUACESM) is supported by the World Bank through the Government of the Republic of Zambia. The CBU-ACESM provides leadership in post-graduate education and training for sustainable mining. It promotes multidisciplinary research at Masters and Doctoral levels addressing problems linked to the five thematic areas:
(i) Occupational health, vulnerabilities, and risks to communities in mining environments;
(ii) Restoration of mined and derelict environments, and waste management;
(iii) Energy use, process, and mining design;
(iv) Monitoring biodiversity and ecosystem impacts; and
(v) Livelihoods, entrepreneurship and corporate social responsibility.

The CBU-ACESM is pleased to announce its call for scholarships for specific Masters (MSc. and MPhil.) and Doctoral (Ph.D.) programmes at the Copperbelt University.
 
Applications will be assessed on a rolling basis. Completed applications and attachments must be sent on or before the deadline date for applications: 6th September 2019.
 
Method of Application

Applicants for the scholarship must first be admitted by School of Postgraduate Studies of the Copperbelt University. To apply for admission at the Copperbelt University, one must complete the application form electronically and attach all required documents by visiting Copperbelt University website on www.cbu.edu.zm.
