TFSA stands for Tanzania Forestry Students’ Association.

TFSA is an association established by students studying BSc. Forestry of the Sokoine University of Agriculture, through TFSA, shall have a link to other communities with the same ideologies based on forestry and other related field aspects. Its central office is located at the Sokoine University of Agriculture (SUA) in Morogoro, Tanzania.

TFSA aims to bring together students with other forestry stakeholders in which various matters and activities concerning forestry will be discussed.


To be among the communities emphasizing trees for the conservation of the health world


TFSA shall engage in awareness creation activities for students and the community around, about the importance of the forestry sector in the conservation of the health world.

TFSA shall participate in forestry, particularly silvicultural activities such as afforestation, reforestation, nature conservation and many others related to the sustainability of forests.
