The Ministry of Natural Resources and Tourism (MNRT), jointly with the Department of Ecosystems and Conservation of the Sokoine University of Agriculture, Tanzania Forestry Research Institute (TAFORI) and the University of Dar es Salaam (UDSM), is developing a National Bamboo Development Strategy and Action Plan of Tanzania.
The development of the Strategy and Action Plan is supported by the International Bamboo and Rattan Organisation (INBAR) through the Ministry of Natural Resources and Tourism (MNRT) under the coordination of Mr. Edwin Nssoko.
