History of the Scholarship Program

AAZV is proud to name this program after Murray Fowler.  Murray was known around the world for his contributions to zoo and wildlife medicine and shared his knowledge countless times with colleagues from developing nations. It is only rightfully so to bestow his name to this program that fosters continuing education to those who are helping the animals in countries where zoological medicine is limited.

This program is made possible by sponsors like the Kirkpatrick FoundationWildlife Conservation SocietySan Diego Zoo Global, San Diego Zoo Global Academy, our beloved friend, Betty White, and AAZV members who contribute throughout the year to afford recipients attendance at an AAZV Annual Conference. If you would like to contribute to the Murray Fowler ICS program, please click HERE.
