UK Government — Illegal Wildlife Trade Challenge Fund

The Illegal Wildlife Trade (IWT) Challenge Fund is a competitive grant scheme open to projects aiming to tackle the illegal wildlife trade in developing countries. Projects funded under the IWT Challenge Fund must support sustainable development in developing countries for the reduction of poverty (especially for those directly affected by illegal wildlife trade). Proposals are expected to range between £20 thousand and £1.5 million. Applications are welcome from different types of organizations, including academic institutions and private sector organizations. Applications from small, locally based organizations are especially welcome. Individuals are not eligible to apply. The Challenge Fund follows a two stage application process. The deadline for Stage 1 applications is 22 November 2021. IWT Challenge Fund
